Spirograph sets
The links below will take you to the new Spirograph sets re-introduced by Kahootz Toys in 2013 (two years after I started this website/blog). If you want a vintage set from the 1960s and 1970s, have a look on eBay or Etsy. Read my post on How to Buy a Spirograph Set for more about that. I also have written comparing the old and new versions.
Super Spirograph
The most complete version of the product, it contains everything in the basic “deluxe” set plus pieces you can fit together in different ways to make bigger shaped designs.
Spirograph
The basic and very popular Spirograph.
Other Sets
This link will take you to the “Spirograph Store” on Amazon where you will see a proliferation of spinoff products, mostly designed for younger kids, as well as sets with fewer parts for dabblers.
Spirograph Pens
You can read more about pens on my Spirograph Pens page. In reality, any pen will work with the new Spirograph sets, and any pen with a fine enough tip will work in the vintage sets. These are my personal favorites.
Stabilo Point 88
These give a 0.4 mm line, and come in lots of colors and formats.
Staedler Triplus Fineliner
A finer 0.3 mm line, available in many colors and formats. Quality pen made in Germany.
Sakura Micron Pens
Ready for a professional, archival, waterproof pen? These are the ones. They come in many point sizes from 0.15 to 0.7 mm. This set has more colors than any.
