Super Spirograph Refill Kit
A reader of this blog, Jae Morgan, found a Super Spirograph Refill Kit, published in 1969, similar to the 1967 Spirograph Refill Kit but for Super Spirograph. She has kindly photographed the envelope and the instructions for everyone to enjoy! Scroll down to see them.
In addition to the patterns on the color envelope, which have instructions, the black and white instruction sheet has 70 “mystery patterns” without final illustrations, for people to try and discover.
If you want to print off one of the images below, clicking it will open the full-resolution image in a new tab, and you can print from there.
The cover envelope mentions two non-super Spirograph Refill Kits, No. 402 and 404. I assume the one we have at the above link is No. 402, so if anyone has a different one and wants to share, feel free to contact me.

Excellent to see a post after so long and with goodies. Keen to give them a try
Thanks. Me too! More posts to come.
I have the new version of the super Spirograph, but am struggling with the gears slipping when using the clip together track. What am I doing wrong? It’s so frustrating.
I’m planning on making some “how to” videos of Super Spirograph with these “mystery” patterns. Meanwhile, make sure the pieces are aligned well, that you’re using enough putty for things to stay together. Are you already comfortable with making the simpler ring designs? Knowing how much pressure to use to keep gears engaged without pushing too hard, etc.?
