Please see my response above. If you want to make cards, any cardstock will do. For just making designs, I usually use cheap printer paper, unless I want to make something special like cards. 					<description><![CDATA[I can&#039;t see that it would be an issue, unless you&#039;re using the old ballpoint pens and pressing down and risking tearing the paper - I remember doing that as a kid with the really dense Spirograph designs, when the ink would saturate the paper and subsequent passes would tear at the fibres. With felt pens, that has never been a problem for me, even on ordinary paper. Any kind of cardstock should be able to resist the most aggressive ballpoint pen user! (Unless you use it for target practice LOL!)]]></description>
