I was using Stabilo point 88 fine tip felt pens, as described on this page. The paper was just cheap inkjet printer paper. My choice of paper would be more determined by what I want to do with it. Cardstock for cards. Plain paper for fun. Patterned paper for more fun.

I’ll do an article on paper one day. Some papers don’t absorb the ink as well as others, and tend to smear. I suppose inkjet paper is designed to absorb ink quickly. It’s just the default paper around my house so that’s what I’ve been using.

I just recently purchased a basic set from Target, and your recent videos are very helpful & inspiring. Can you please share what type/brand of drawing implement you use (i.e., are those pencils or pens, felt tip or gel ink, etc.)? Also, what paper do you recommend? I find that heavy/cardstock is best for the markers, but regular paper is better for ballpoint or rollerball type pens. What’s your preference? Thanks!

I call it “Intermediate” because of the videos I want to create that explain more basic stuff for beginners.
